And if we haven't learned one thing in these past weeks we have learned that you can always count on your family.

Scott, it sure has been a tough three weeks. I was just getting use to the trips to Boston. Can’t say I’ll miss the long drives, but I will certainly miss seeing you. My thoughts will be with you & Julie each and everyday. As you leave Boston and the year 2002 behind, I can only pray that 2003 will bring you a speedy full recovery and a truly Happy New Year.
Love to you both,
Your big sister Chris

Mr & Mrs Bolts,
Hope you had a good flight. Did they serve cocktails and peanuts ??? Bolts, dont be giving the rehab people a hard time and let them know that you walked side ways BEFORE the accident so don't try and correct that!!!!
Hmmmm....Georgia sounds like a weekend roadtrip to me, let me know when you're up for a visit, I've always wanted to visit Georgia.
I Love You Man!
Ted

Hi Scott,
Won't miss the trips to Boston but I will miss seeing you. Heard that you had an uneventful trip to Atlanta and that you are all settled in. Hope and pray that they help you to a full recovery. It will be a lot of hard work-outs but I'm sure you are up to that. Hopefully Jim and I will be coming down that way before a month is up. No definite plans yet.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and remember that I love you.
Love Mama

P.S. "Third time was a charm" She's a keeper!

Hey Scott,
I have read your history and amazed. I was not aware of all you have gone through. I have been out of the loop and just learned of this web site. It has been a long road and I know you can get tired and wondering sometimes, but you got a second chance for a reason. Hang tough and never doubt your recovery. It will take time, but time keeps moving. Keep up the good work and remember you have enormous emotional support back here. See ya soon buddy!!!!
Steve ARcher

Scott,
The road may have gotten a little longer, but we all know the strength you have to pull through this. Nothing could ever keep you down for long.We are all praying for you Scott and I will be back down to Georgia soon.
Love ya, Linda

Hi Scott,
When I saw you a little over a week ago I felt so helpless. Even reading your lips was impossible for me to do. Sorry about that. I just wanted to jump in your head and find out what you wanted to say to me. As I looked in your eyes I could see the strength you have to fight this and get back on the right track of rehabilitation. Stay strong Scott. One other thing I would like to say is that you have a strong woman (Julie) to get your through the tough times. She is right by your side. Arwi and I think about you every day, and I hope to see you again before you leave Georgia.
Love ya Scott,
Carol

Kenny Picozzi and Carol Shaw,

Thank you for a well organised and very succesfull fundraiser dinner on Sunday February 9th at Backstreet Bar & Grill. You did a real great job!!!

Julie and Scott's family

Scott & Julie,
You would not believe the tremendous amount of love and support that you have back home. It was truly amazing to see everyone that cares about you guys in one place, for one reason only.. we all miss you and are praying for your quick recovery.
Thank You, everyone for being there for my brother and "sister"
Love, Janine

Scott & Julie,
The love and support that was shown to both of you at the fundraiser was overwhelming. You have the love and concern of many friends that care about you, and are praying for your quick recovery. I want to thank everyone who participated in the fundraiser and showed their love and support to the both of you.
Love you
Mama

Scott, Julie, and family,
Just wanted to say a quick hello and take a minute to convey the unbelievable support you have in RI-You would not have imagined all the people who showed up on Sunday to help in their own way! If the fire marshall showed up we would have been in some serious trouble! It was a wonderful tribute from the many friends and family you have to come home to! I was happy to have helped and none of it would have been possible without all your friends and family.
We keep the prayers and good thoughts going your way and are hoping for your return to RI soon!!!
Jack & Carol Shaw

Bolts!
If you stay any longer down there where going to have to call you redneck.
Hurry up and get well so we can have some egg-nogg mudslides again.
I'm heading down for bike week.
If you need anything Im heading down on the 27th.
I can throw it in the truck.
Mike Messier

Scott,
You were doing so well last week. And suddenly something happened making you so fragile and helpless. You have fought so many battles the last two months to recover. You have shown your toughness and strength and strong will to live. You surprised the doctors in Boston and Atlanta several times. The medical personal in the Shepard Center have seen miracle recoveries before. I pray to God and hope with all my heart you will win this fight.
Love, your brother in-law,
Arwi (the Netherlands)
